A method for estimating line industrial frequency parameters based on wideband information

Abstract Accurate acquisition of transmission line parameters is the basis for grid condition monitoring and data analysis, which great significance safe economic operation grid. With widespread use phasor measurement unit (PMU) technology, wideband information in can be exploited, broadens new direction parameter identification. In this paper, a method proposed to identify frequency based on information. A mathematical model identification with established, achieved by iterative solution through least squares. The results show that accuracy improved adding information, industrial lightly loaded lines achieved. Finally, feasibility correctness verified simulation.
